Windy Hill - a fantastic beginner hike not to far from Glasgow!
Windy Hill is a great day out and a great beginner hike with a total elevation of 95m.
The path is well laid out for most of the hike, up until the final ascent to the top of Windy Hill. At this point, you have the option to take the steep ascent up to the left or directly straight for a more straightforward and gradual ascent.
