A expansive set of paths and trails through the Whitelee Windfarm, with a visitor centre and cafe.

One of our favourite spots for a walk, Whitelee Windfarm has a huge network of paths to traverse. The paths are well maintained and there are a number of different routes to take, depending on how far you want to walk. The visitor centre is a great place to start, with a cafe and toilets, and there are a number of picnic benches outside. The visitor centre also has a number of interactive displays and information about the windfarm, and the cafe serves a range of hot and cold food and drinks.

It’s a great place to go if you are looking to gradually build up your walking distance, as you can start with a short walk and gradually increase the distance as you get fitter. The paths are also suitable for bikes and there are a number of bike racks outside the visitor centre.
